Spin 2 was founded by ex-'Barely Works' sublime fiddle player - Ali Jones and ex-'Lost T-Shirts of Atlantis' guitarist, bouzoukizer and flautist - the exuberant Chris Rudd.
Spin2 are described as contemporary folk - they play original songs alongside roots based instrumentals with a scintillating 'collective energy'.
Mick and Iggy couple as the rock-solid rhythm section of double bass and drums, with Glen on mandolin and guitar. The emphasis is always on pitch-perfect melody, excellent heartfelt delivery and lots of fun. Consequently, Spin 2 is enjoyed by all ages and dancing is difficult to resist.
Based in Exeter, UK, Spin 2 play a powerful yet beautiful set; just right for big stage gigs, festivals, weddings, private functions, corporate events, in fact -any occasion or party where quality and fun music is essential.
